Precision Copy Products is an office equipment dealership located in Clairton, Pennsylvania. The company has been serving the Western Pennsylvania business community since 1989 by offering high-quality printers, copiers, display boards, and other equipment from top manufacturers. Precision Copy Products prides itself on providing personalized customer service, which has been a key factor in their success for over three decades.
Lynn Pickford, the owner of Precision Copy Products, started in the office equipment industry in 1986 after graduating high school. She completed nursing school and became an RN but kept her job at a dealership when she met her future husband, Tom Pickford. In 2001, Lynn and Tom, along with their business partner, Julia Bubanovich, bought Precision Copy Products and ran the business together under joint ownership. In 2022, Tom sadly lost his battle with cancer and in 2023, Julia began sunsetting into a well-deserved retirement. Lynn, determined to continue operating as well as grow Precision Copy Products with her new dedicated executive team, wanted to buy Julia’s shares of the business. A purchase of this size would require long-term financing.
In search of financing, Lynn called a few friends who connected her with Richard Clark, a banker at FNB. After evaluating Lynn’s situation, Richard recommended an SBA loan and connected her with Adam Whitaker, one of our experienced Business Development Officers. Adam worked closely with Lynn to gather the necessary paperwork and walked her through every step of the SBA lending process. Adam was able to successfully craft an SBA 7(a) loan and Express Line of Credit that enabled Lynn to become the full owner of Precision Copy Products. Lynn even asked if the loan could close on March 29th, her late husband’s favorite number, and Adam and the closer, Demtrius, worked to make it happen.
