Home Instead has been providing in-home care for over 25 years. Their suite of services includes companion care, personal care, and specialized care for individuals diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and dementia. The Home Instead franchise network is known for providing top-quality care to their clients and the families they serve.
In the Richmond, Virginia territory specifically, they have 125 dedicated caregivers that can provide support for as little as three hours a day all the way up to 24 hours a day.
Paul, one of Home Instead’s newest franchise owners, graduated from The University of Georgia and went to work in the financial services industry. A few years later, he decided he wanted to be a part of his family’s business in Industrial Boiler Manufacturing. For 10 years, he worked at the company in varied roles from marketing to operations. Following the family’s transition out of the business, Paul started looking for an opportunity to purchase his own business. After looking at several business ventures, he found Home Instead and knew it would be a great fit.
Paul was attracted to Home Instead for a number of reasons but having the ability to provide reliable and effective in-home care to those in need was a big driver for him. He began researching his financing options and felt an SBA loan could be a perfect fit. Due to the size of the transaction and benefits, such as lower down payments and longer terms, he decided to reach out the FNB Small Business Finance.
FNB Small Business Finance stood out to Paul because we specialize in Senior Care Lending. Once he reached out, he was put in contact with our experienced Business Development Officer, Dennis Wagner.
Paul had this to say about his experience with Dennis Wagner and the team at FNB Small Business Finance:
It couldn’t have been a better experience! From the beginning, I knew that Dennis was the right person to work with for this SBA loan. Throughout the entire process, he was very responsive and helped me understand the next steps. I would, and already have, recommended Dennis and the team at FNB Small Business Finance to other business owners. With their Preferred Lender Status and experience in the in-home care space, it was a really good combination for me.
We enjoyed partnering with Paul on this SBA 7(A) loan, and wish him success as he continues to grow the business.
