Crystal Clear Building Services is a facility management and service company that was started in 1989. Serving Ohio and Western Pennsylvania, they provide commercial janitorial services, carpet and hard surface cleaning, window washing, pressure washing, industrial cleaning, as well as construction cleaning. While they work in many different industries, they primarily serve the medical industry.
Steve Lesko, current owner of Crystal Clear Building Services, has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and has previous experience as a sales engineer and application manager in the manufacturing industry. With this experience, he has been able to apply his technical background to the world of commercial cleaning. Due to that, Crystal Clear Building Services approaches cleaning differently than their competitors. They use science and technical applications to ensure they provide their customers with the best cleaning services available.
What started as a window washing company has grown significantly over the years. In 2019, Steve decided he wanted to buyout his business partner to obtain 100% ownership of the company. At that time, Steve was working with a business attorney and was put in contact with Maurus Kosco, a commercial banker at FNB. Maurus put Steve in contact with Tim Carson, our SBA Business Development Officer, who structured an SBA loan to help him achieve his goals. In addition to the SBA 7(a) Loan, Maurus also provided Crystal Clear Building Services with a Working Capital Line of Credit. Through strong collaboration between the SBA Finance Group and Commercial Banking, FNB was able to differentiate our combined financing package for this client.
With an SBA loan, Steve was able to use the equity he already had in the business to achieve a lower down payment, among other benefits provided through the loan.
